School And Nursery Visits

Bocketts Farm has CEVAS accreditation and is proud to have become one of the first places to receive a Learning Outside The Classroom Quality Badge, as a provider of quality, safely managed educational visits.

In our 2010 School's Satisfaction Survey 97% rated the "Overall Experience" category as excellent.

Your Visit
Most schools arrive at 10am or soon after and leave at 2 or 2.30 pm after their picnic lunch. Tours and activities fill most of the morning, with free time for play at the end of the morning, before or after lunch. Nursery or preschool groups do not usually have a farm tour and therefore have longer free time. Undercover Areas are provided for picnic lunches.

The above prices include a trailer ride and are available during term time only.

How To Book
Call us on 01372 363764 to make a provisional booking. We will then send you a booking confirmation and an invoice for the £20 deposit. We will include our safety talk, areas for risk assessment and an entry form for our annual school's competition. Don't forget to order your Teacher's pack when you are booking.

Spring & Autumn Terms are the quietest times to visit. For the Summer Term try to book before March to ensure the date you want.

Teacher Visits
Teachers are welcome to come to the farm prior to their visit, free of charge. Please ring to let us know who is coming and when.

Our Teachers packs have been recently updated. There is a whole new set aimed at Key Stage 1, attainment targets 1-3, which includes an introduction to sustainable development for a mixed farm. This concept will also be covered in our farm tours. The new packs cost £4.95 including postage.
