Meeting Father Christmas
What to expect
The experience begins as children hop on board the Santa Express trailer ride. The elves then take you on a short journey to the traditional workshop where the fun and magic continues. Next, you'll be invited into the grotto where each child will meet Father Christmas and receive a golden coin, before heading to the amazing Toy Shop to select a gift of their choice. Professional photos and souvenirs will be available to purchase.
Please note this is a group experience, however each child (along with any siblings) will meet Father Christmas individually. The short Santa Express trailer ride is for children only. Accompanying adults and young children/babies unable to sit alone will walk alongside as it travels slowly. The experience lasts up to 40 minutes.
How to book
The ticket price for children includes Farm Entry and a visit to Father Christmas with a gift. Adults are only required to book Farm Entry tickets and will accompany their children to meet Father Christmas without an additional cost. There is a limit of 2 adults per family group to accompany children through the experience.
First select the date of your choice. Ticket prices vary between our standard rates and off-peak/winter weekday prices. On select dates mid-week until 18th December, we offer an 'After School' rate with reduced admission from 2.30pm for Father Christmas visits after 3.15pm. For full day tickets, you are welcome to arrive any time from when we open and stay until we close.
SEN Father Christmas visits specifically tailored for families of children with special educational needs will run all day on 3rd and 9th December. BOOK CHRISTMAS SEN SESSIONS HERE.
Select your Father Christmas Departure Time. We advise arriving at the farm at least 30 minutes before your booked Father Christmas time. If you are late or miss your session time to see Father Christmas then it is not always possible to rearrange.
Select your children's tickets first. Standard tickets include the visit to meet Father Christmas and Farm Entry and our Premium tickets also include making a cuddly toy to take home. Children under 2 years wishing to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift must purchase a ticket. Babies in arms not meeting Father Christmas do not require a ticket.
Next select your farm entry tickets for adults and extra children not visiting Father Christmas.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Essential Companion tickets (previously Carer tickets)
From 3rd November 2025, we are joining the Access Card Scheme, provided by Nimbus Disability.
The Access Card system is used by thousands of venues across the UK. It makes it easier for visitors with additional needs to communicate their requirements without carrying extra paperwork.
Visitors with additional needs who require an Essential Companion will need an Access Card or free Bocketts Farm Digital Access Pass (DAP). If your card or pass features a +1 or +2 symbol you can book free Essential Companion ticket(s) using your Access ID number.
SEN Father Christmas Visits
We will be offering specifically tailored Father Christmas tickets for families of children with special educational needs.
During these sessions, the group sizes will be reduced to allow for more time and space. There will be Christmas lights but no bright lights or loud music to ensure a calm yet stimulating experience.
These will run all day on 3rd and 9th December.
Make a Cuddly Toy
For an extra touch of festive magic, children can make their own cuddly toy in our Bear Factory! Each toy has it’s own certificate to take home and outfits can be purchased on the day.
New for 2025, children will be able to select a cuddly toy of their choice from our wide selection including Christmas favourites, cute animals and more.
Ensure you select the Premium Christmas Ticket to include this activity. This option is not available for 'After School' ticket types.
The Giant Snow Globe
Step into the Giant Snow Globe for a fun family photo. Suitable for all ages.
Christmas Craft Corner
Visit the Craft Corner and enjoy a range of Christmas themed crafts to make and take home.
Complete the Christmas Trail
Follow the clues around the farm to find the festive stamps to complete the trail. A fun activity for children of all ages.
Make Reindeer Food
Children will love to put together their own magical mix of reindeer food to take home and sprinkle on Christmas Eve.
Marshmallow Toasting
Enjoy a winter warmer and marshmallow toasting around the fire pits.
With mulled wine, festive hot chocolates, sweet treats and more on sale.
Indoor and Outdoor Play
Go wild across our amazing indoor and outdoor play areas. Including play barns, mini ride ons, jumping pillows, pedal go karts, adventure play, treehouse towers, mini quad bikes and more!
Christmas Trees for sale
A selection of Christmas Trees will be on sale in the yard outside the Tearooms from the end of November.
Farm Activities and Animals
Enjoy our full programme of activities including Small Animal Encounter Sessions, Pig Racing, Pony Rides and Tractor Rides. Meet friendly farm animals in our huge Animal Discovery Barn, including baby lambs in December.
