Meeting Father Christmas
What to expect
The experience begins as children hop on board the Santa Express trailer ride. The elves then take you on a short journey to the grotto where the fun and magic continues. You will meet Father Christmas and each child will receive a golden coin, before heading to the amazing Toy Shop to select a gift of their choice. Professional photos and souvenirs will be available to purchase.
Please note this is a group experience and each family group will be called up to meet Father Christmas within the group setting. The short Santa Express trailer ride is for children only. Accompanying adults and young children/babies unable to sit alone will walk alongside as it travels slowly. The experience lasts up to 40 minutes.
How to book
The ticket price for children includes Farm Entry and a visit to Father Christmas with a gift. Adults are only required to book Farm Entry tickets and will accompany their children to meet Father Christmas without an additional cost. There is a limit of 2 adults per family group to accompany children through the experience.
First select the date of your choice. Ticket prices vary between our standard rates and off-peak/winter weekday prices. On select dates mid-week until 15th December, we offer an 'After School' rate with reduced admission from 2.30pm for Father Christmas visits after 3.15pm. For full day tickets, you are welcome to arrive any time from when we open and stay until we close. NEW for 2026, our Festive Evening ticket option is available on the16th and 17th December with entry permitted from 2.30pm and a later closing time of 7pm.
SEND Father Christmas visits specifically tailored for families of children with special educational needs and disabilities will run on the afternoon of 22nd November. BOOK CHRISTMAS SEND SESSIONS HERE.
Select your Father Christmas Departure Time. We advise arriving at the farm at least 30 minutes before your booked Father Christmas time. If you are late or miss your session time to see Father Christmas then it is not always possible to rearrange.
Select your children's tickets first. Standard tickets include the visit to meet Father Christmas and Farm Entry and our Premium tickets also include making a cuddly toy to take home. Children under 1 year wishing to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift must purchase a ticket. Babies in arms not meeting Father Christmas do not require a ticket. A £1 booking fee applies to all online transactions.

NEW Festive Evenings: 16th and 17th December
NEW for 2026 - Join us from 2.30pm onwards on 16th & 17th December for a festive afternoon and evening where you can enjoy all the magical festivities as it gets dark including a visit to meet Father Christmas.
Christmas activities will run until 7pm along with the indoor play, Small Animal Village and Animal Barn. The Old Barn Tearooms and Coffee Shop will also be open late serving our full menu.
Please note that after dark, the farm walks and outdoor play will be closed.
SEND Father Christmas Visits
We will be offering specifically tailored Father Christmas tickets for families of children with special educational needs and disabilities on the afternoon of 22nd November.
During these sessions, the group sizes will be reduced to allow for more time and space. There will be Christmas lights but no bright lights or loud music to ensure a calm yet stimulating experience.
Premium Ticket: Make a Cuddly Toy
For an extra touch of festive magic, children can make their own cuddly toy in our Bear Factory! Each toy has it’s own certificate to take home and outfits can be purchased on the day.
A wide range of cuddly toys to choose from including Christmas favourites, cute animals and more.
Ensure you select the Premium Christmas Ticket to include this activity. Not available for 'After School' tickets.
NEW: Gingerbread decorating
Children can decorate their own gingerbread biscuit to take home. Allergen friendly and fun for all ages.
Grown ups may like to enjoy their own treat from the Yuletide Yard whilst the children are decorating!

Children will love to put together their own magical mix of reindeer food to take home and sprinkle on Christmas Eve.

A selection of Christmas Trees will be on sale in the yard outside the Tearooms from the end of November.
